Work Experience

Omary Magasha works as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Rural Development and Regional Planning of the Institute of Rural Development Planning. He is a project management expert with 5+ years of experience as a researcher, trainer, and consultant in the fields of project planning and management, baseline studies, and monitoring and evaluation.

  • Extensive skills in formulating and designing of projects and plans.
  • High knowledge and experience in provision of training and workshops 
  • Wide knowledge in developing resource mobilization strategies for organizations, projects and programs.
  • Developing robust Monitoring and Evaluation systems for projects, programs and organizations.
  • High experience in preparation of data collection tools for research, monitoring and evaluation, and preparation of research findings reports for social sciences, agriculture and health related studies.
  • Data collection for social sciences, health and agriculture researches, Baseline studies and Impact evaluation in urban and rural areas of Tanzania.
  • Data processing for social sciences and agricultural studies, and presentation of research and evaluation results in a clear and concise manner.
