Work Experience

Fausta Epimacus Senga (Masters) works as an Assistant Lecturer in Population Studies Department of the Institute of Rural Development Planning. She is a Community Development expert with 5+ years of experience as an assistant researcher, trainer and consultant in the field of Community Development in various fields, not limited to Management of Community Development Programmes, Gender and Children issues. She is also a member of Community Development Professionals Association in Tanzania (CODEPATA).

  • Application of Community Development Principles and Approaches
  • Designing online mobile data collection platforms using most current technologies ie; Kobo Tool Box
  • Wide knowledge in application of Participatory Tools in Data Collection and preparation of Community Development Plans.
  • Experienced in the use and applications of statistical packages such as SPSS
  • Experienced in Training of Community Facilitators
  • Experienced in Evaluation of Community Development Programmes  


Research and academic Interests

My main research and academic interests are in Gender and Children issues, Community Development, Community Development Projects and entrepreneurship.
