Work Experience

Praise Mdendemi works as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Development Finance and Management Studies at the Institute of Rural Development Planning. She is a Business Administrative professional majoring in Entrepreneurship with over six years of working experience as a part-time lecturer (2016-2019) at IRDP, as an Administrator and Logistician at Swisscontact INGO bearing the position of an Office Manager (2019-2021) and full-time Assistant lecturer at IRDP (2022-current).

Professional Skills

• Community mobilization and training. Worked with Voluntary Service Organization (VSO)-International Citizenship Service ICS, preparing events on Active Citizenship Days (ACD), Community Action Days (CADs) and Entrepreneurship education to Youth Economic Empowerment groups (YEE) (01/2018-04/2018).
• Administrative skills. Managed work scheduling, vehicles, office equipment, and invoices at Swiss contact INGO in Mwanza (10/2019-04/2021).
• Report writing and Presentation skills. Submitted weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the U-Learn II Project at Swiss contact Mwanza; lectures to students NTA levels 4 to 8 at IRDP Dodoma.
