Work Experience

Berling Magolyo Sospeter (PhD) works as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Development Finance and Management Studies at the Institute of Rural Development Planning. He has been involved in conducting teaching, consultancies, supervising and project research for over 15 years. Dr. Berling is endowed with knowledge and research experiences in rural livelihood dynamics and the management of fisheries.

  • Teaching experience in social science research methods, Strategic plan preparation, Climate change and vulnerability
  • Knowledge and skills in the formation of the management of Beach Management units (BMUs) in Lake Victoria
