Work Experience

.Dr. Manyerere is a Lecturer/Librarian and Library Manager at the Institute of Rural Development Planning for more than 16 years. She has saved before in special libraries for 15 years as a Library assistant. Dr. Manyerere holds academic and professional degree qualification in Librarianship, Records Management and Information Science from School of Library Archives and Documentation Studies (SLADS), Makarere University, University of Dar es Salaam and University of KwaZulu-Natal. Dr. Manyerere was honoured with a Best librarian of the year 2010 for her contribution to the field of librarianship. Dr. Manyerere has saved on several Professional and National Association such as Tanzania Library and Information Association (TLA) as a Chairperson (2016-2022) and The Consortium of Tanzania University and Research Libraries (COTUL) as a Treasurer (2021 to date), and AfLIA as a Publicity Secretary under National Library Association section. Dr. Manyerere is a Librarian and Information specialist with experience as a researcher and trainer in the field of Librarianship, and Information Science.
