Work Experience

Sadick Alex (MDE) works as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Rural Development and Regional Planning of the Institute of Rural Development Planning. He is a development economist with 4 years of experience as a researcher and trainer in the field of applied social science research methods, research methodology, data processing and analysis, not limited to the fields of business mathematics and statistics for monitoring and evaluation. Also, he worked as a trade promotion officer at the Tanzania Trade Development Authority.


Professional Skills

  • Developing and maintaining current knowledge for political and economic context of the domestic and export markets.
  • Assessing market intelligence system and responding to the information request from clients, and or doing business in the local markets
  • Processing and statistical analysis of various data and effective in writing and presenting the social science research results.
  • Experienced in the use and applications of statistical packages such as SPSS, Statistica and R-Statistical Software for data mining and perform complex statistical analysis, such as Principal Component Analysis, Hierarchical Cluster Analysis and Multinomial Linear Regressions.


Research and academic Interests

My main research and academic interests are in operational research, especially in deterministic operational research methods, impact evaluation research, data science, trade promotion, innovation, and entrepreneurship for wealth creation.
